The first artistic exhibition event organized by the Buzău County Museum at the headquarters of the "IC Brătianu" Museum Center Buzău will be represented by the exhibition of graduates of the 2024 Promotion from the "Margareta Sterian" High School of Arts. The graduates of the prestigious Buzoian educational institution followed the departments of Architecture, Mural Art, Textiles and Easel Painting with a path that allowed them to acquire the techniques of the mentioned specialties and a promising start in their artistic career. Under the guidance of the coordinating teachers Aloub Omar, Sorina Ghiță, Silviana Văleanu, Tiberiu Stănescu and Mihalcea Răzvan, the young budding artists used techniques involving different materials and mediums, distinct plastic, architectural and decorative-ornamental purposes that ensure, on a personal level, a solid platform for evolution as an individual in relation to the world, society and chosen field of study. The supporting materials are wood, multicolored textile, as well as less conventional materials.

The themes covered in the Visual Arts Department use documentation from natural structures, anatomy and the human figure, the universe, art history, plays, poetry, and even pop themes such as anime and manga. In architecture, Buzoi students present plans and models of exhibition space, car showroom, suspended restaurant, record label, kindergarten, cinema, library, cafe, aviation museum, dental clinic. In the mural art group, the themes "Metamorphosis" and "Man and the Universe" were addressed, each with stylistic interpretations from baroque or art nouveau focused on ornamentation. At the same time, the graduates of the group also completed a group assignment, in the ceramic mosaic technique with the module from 5 mm to 2 cm, of 100/350 cm. The work, made in the classic, authentic manner, is a composition with geometric and figurative elements that will be mounted on a wall in the premises of the Arts High School.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at the headquarters of the "IC Brătianu" Museum Center in the municipality of Buzău, and it will be free to visit until Friday, June 14, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.
