The Smart Museum project

It represents the administrative investment program of the Buzău County Museum implemented starting from 2018, which aims to modernize the institution in terms of the introduction of new technologies in the museum language, the purchase of modern equipment in the area of ​​the Restoration Laboratory, which have the role of optimizing the intervention processes on the assets heritage, the identification of new methods and means of making accessible the national cultural heritage administered by the museum. Among the results of this program we mention:

• - Modernization of the Colți Amber Museum;
• - MuseumBus project;
• - Museum in a Box;
• - Series of VR exhibitions;
• - Realization of virtual tours at the Colți Amber Museum, "Vasile Voiculescu" Pârscov Memorial House; "Vergu Mănăilă" Museum of Ethnography;
• - Numismatic Exhibition;
• - Implementation of the "Buzău in images" software;
• - The visual remodeling and investment program for the open-air Museum "Tabara Măgura";
• - Introduction of the QR code system;
• - The use of tablets, televisions, audio playback systems and other devices in the cultural heritage communication area;
• - Implementation of the Digital Development Strategy of the Buzău County Museum;
• - Implementation of the Strategy to Consolidate the image of the Buzău County Museum;
• - Equipping and mounting in the exhibition spaces the extended system of sensors for the exhibition lighting;
