Keeping the exhibition alive

It is a program initiated by the Buzău County Museum in 2018 and involves the monthly support of a classical, chamber and light music concert by the "Margareta Sterian" Arts High School Orchestra in the exhibition spaces of the museum. The aim of the program is to bring classical music lovers to the museum spaces in a setting of optimal comfort for them, but also to offer the possibility to the students-artists from Buzo to regularly experience the concert/recital atmosphere, promoting their study activity in the space audience of the Buzoian community.

The museum spaces where the performances take place have been established by mutual agreement with the museum specialists so that the musical repertoire has a better impact with the national cultural heritage on display. This is the reason why some shows take place at the premises of the "Vergu Mănăilă" Ethnography Museum Buzău, others at the premises of the Museum of Archaeology, History and Art Buzău in the area of ​​the art galleries.

At the same time, the program has the role of periodically revitalizing museum spaces. After a period of six years, with an interruption for objective reasons in 2020, the direct beneficiaries of this program were just over 1,800 spectators, these concerts already forming their own audience.
