Temporary exhibition "Childhood in Communism"

Buzau County Museum, instituție de cultură, cercetare și artă, ce funcționează sub autoritatea Consiliului Județean Buzău, invită publicul la deschiderea expoziției temporare „Copilăria în comunism”, eveniment ce va avea loc marți, 28 iunie 2022, începând cu ora 11:00, la sediul central al instituției, str. Aleea Castanilor, nr. 1, mun. Buzău, jud. Buzău.

The exhibition project recreates, through toys, games, photos and school objects, the universe of children from the communist period. At the same time, visitors can admire: pieces of furniture, electronic devices, household appliances, trinkets and other decorative objects, slides, leisure equipment, documents and publications. The painting is completed by the uniforms of the hawks of the homeland and the pioneers, along with badges, medals and diplomas that rewarded the achievements of students during the communist period.

"Childhood in Communism" completes the series of exhibitions organized in recent years, with the aim of capitalizing on the rich heritage specific to the communist era held by the Buzău County Museum.

Admission is free on the day of the opening, and the exhibition can be visited until October 2, 2022.
