Expoziția temporară cu lucrări de grafică Moșteniri colecționate 2

The Buzău County Museum, a culture, art and research institution, which operates under the authority of the Buzău County Council, announces the opening of the temporary exhibition dedicated to the painter Grigore Vasile, with works from the Victor Adam private collection. The event will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2024, starting at 11:00 a.m., at the "IC Brătianu" Museum Center Buzău. The exhibition project includes sketches and drawings, made by the artist, in which the human figure dominates thematically, being a lesson on synthesizing bodily "dynamics" in static postures.

Expoziția este organizată în cadrul programului „Moșteniri colecționate”, inițiat de  Muzeul Județean Buzău și dedicat colecțiilor și colecționarilor de artă. Programul își propune să încurajeze fenomenul de constituire a colecțiilor private și să faciliteze legături între artiști și colecționari.

The artist Vasile Grigore (27.01.1935 – 20.02.2012), had an abundant activity in the field of visual arts, becoming one of the most important modern Romanian painters, by perfecting chromatic juxtapositions and stylistically synthesizing forms. He attended the "Nicolae Grigorescu" National Institute of Fine Arts in Bucharest, where he later became a teacher.

Vasile Grigore was not only a creator, but also an art collector. He collected an impressive number of artistic works which he donated to the Romanian state, together with a part of his work. Thus, the Vasile Grigore Museum in Bucharest came into existence.

 

Expoziția va fi deschisă până la data de 25 august 2024.

Programul de vizitare este de marți până duminică, între orele 10:00 – 18:00.

Accesul la vernisaj este gratuit.
