minirecitaluri Adelina Dedu

Buzau County Museum, an institution of culture, art and research, operating under the authority of the Buzău County Council, announces the organization of two mini-recitals supported by Miss Adelina Dedu.

Miss Adelina Dedu started to study the whistle since the age of 7, within the Buzău County Center for Culture and Art, in the class of Mr. Traian Popescu. Currently, she is a student of the “Margareta Sterian” High School of Arts in Buzau, where she studies the flute in the class of Professor Marius Baduta. In his spare time he studied the sea with Mrs. Loredana Streche and the whistling and cavalry with Mr. Teodor Geani Busnea.

The mini-recitals will take place within the exhibition “Singer and melos – aeromophone musical instruments from the Romanian countryside”, a temporary exhibition dedicated to the aerophone musical instruments, in which are exhibited musical instruments from the collection of the “Vergu-Mănăila” Museum of Ethnography, from the personal collection of Mr. Cristian Micu and from the personal collection of Mr. Ion Zecheru. The exhibition “Single and melos – aeromophone musical instruments from the Romanian countryside” brings to the attention of the public aeromopose musical instruments used in the Romanian rural world (the tilinca, the flute, the caval, the bucium and the chimpoule) and their sound in the ethnographic area of Buzău.

Minirecitalurile se vor desfășura, în datele de 15 și 22 octombrie 2023, în intervalul orar  12:00 – 12:30, la sediul Muzeului de Etnografie „Vergu-Mănăilă” din strada Războieni, nr. 8, municipiul Buzău.

The temporary exhibition “Single and melos – aerophone musical instruments from the Romanian countryside” can be visited until 22.10.2023.
