Data de 29 iulie a fost desemnată prin Legea nr. 99/1998  ca Ziua Imnului Naţional, fiind aleasă pentru a marca ziua de 29 iulie 1848, când ”Deşteaptă-te române!” a fost cântat pentru prima dată oficial, în Parcul Zăvoi din Râmnicu Vâlcea.

Andrei Mureșanu, poet of the Revolution of 1848, composes in May of that year the poem “A Resounding” for which he will choose a song very much sung in all the Romanian provinces, “From the bosom of my mother”. Thus, “Awabe-te Române”, the anthem of the Revolution of 1848 and the current state anthem of Romania, was born.

Buzău County Museum, a cultural institution operating under the authority of the Buzău County Council, based in mun. Buzău, Castanilor Alley, no. 1, jud. Buzau, legally represented by dr. Daniel Costache as Manager, marks the Day of the National Anthn in a unique way, inviting the public to hear the national annities that our country had over time: “Tree triumphal march and the reception of the flag and His Majesty the Princely Prince”, “Alied the King”, “Squeeze the handover”, “We praise you, Romania!”, “Tree colors”.

The event will take place on Monday, July 29, 2019, starting at 10.00, at the Buzau County Museum, and the entrance is free.

Access to visiting the museum's collections is also free of charge.
