Buzau County Museum, instituție de cultură și cercetare ce funcționează sub autoritatea Consiliului Județean Buzău, cu sediul în mun. Buzău, Aleea Castanilor, nr. 1, jud. Buzău, anunță organizarea evenimentului Open Doors Day at the Pietroasa Mică - Gruiu Dării archaeological siteOpen Doors Day on the archaeological site Pietroasa Mic – Gruiu Dării, com. Pietroasele, jud. Buzău, vineri, 06 august 2021.

On this day you will be able to visit the archaeological site, specialists of the Buzau County Museum, researchers and muzeographers, offering guidance to all those who dare to climb the hill of the Dacian fortress. Situations of archaeological interest such as traces of housing, annexes and other household facilities in the Neolithic, Bronze Age and in the Iron Age, will be seen.

The route can be traveled both on foot and by car, on the route Buzău – Pietroaseuli “Gruiu Dăiării”. On the way we recommend a stop and the monument erected in the area of the discovery of the Treasure from Pietroasele.

A mini-exhibition of artifacts recently discovered by Buzau archaeologists will be organized.
